Picture checklist of weekly good choices chart, shown on clipboard and iPhone

The Trip Clip® offers printable activities to teach life skills, reduce screen time, and help special needs kids.

I hesitated to make this free printable, but I went ahead with it after so many people asked me for it. Before you use it, I recommend you read some of the research about behavior charts and pay careful attention to how to use them well. Behavior charts can end up shaming kids, especially if they’re used in a public setting. They also risk focusing on external rather than internal motivation. If you use this free chart, make it private between you and the child and focus on teaching the expected skill first and then use the chart to track successful demonstration of the skill they’ve already learned. Then reward the successes instead of punishing the failures!
