The Trip Clip® offers printable activities to teach life skills, reduce screen time, and help special needs kids. Emotional labor is work done primarily by women. Girls learn from a young age to take on the more “feminine” tasks of dealing with emotions, maintaining relationships, and ensuring households and workplaces run smoothly. This work is often unacknowledged and unpaid. As the mom of two boys, I’ve thought a lot about how to raise my sons to be able to do this emotional labor too.
