Picture grocery shopping list: bananas, apples, fish, eggs, milk, shown on clipboard and iPhone

The Trip Clip® offers printable activities to teach life skills, reduce screen time, and help special needs kids.

Try a picture checklist to survive grocery shopping with kids. You can use this one for free or choose from over 300 pictures to make your own. Print it, take it to the store with a clipboard and pen, or use it in live mode from a phone. My kids used picture lists at the grocery store for years. It’s the reason I created The Trip Clip. My 4-year-old son was a handful at the grocery store. He would run up and down the aisles, take things off the shelves, and try to push the cart but end up running it into other shoppers. One day, as he watched me cross something off my list, he asked if he could do it. He was so much better behaved when he was engaged in helping me shop. I realized he needed a picture list since he couldn’t read yet, and he needed a clipboard. The Trip Clip was born!
