This Bingo board is a great ice breaker for the first day of school. Give every child a board and have them mix and mingle to try to find kids to match each square. When they find a match, they can write that child’s name in the square – little kids may want to hand off the board to have the other child write their OWN name in the square! You can see who gets a Bingo (5 in a row in any direction) first, or you can just have them keep going until they find as many matches as they can. When they’re done, you can go through each square as a group and have kids raise their hands to say the name of who they found for each square. Eventually you’ll know all the kids who have a dog, who speak another language, and who like brussels sprouts!
